‘FACTORY RESET: CONTINUED’ A SOLO & GROUP EXHIBITION BY DENNIS OSADEBE

König Gallery and Numero Berlin have come together to create an exciting collaboration for the Gallery Weekend Berlin 2023. The collaboration features two exhibitions, “Factory Reset” and “Factory Reset Continued“, exhibited by artist Dennis Osadebe.

Factory Reset‘ by Dennis Osadebe explores the concept of restoring electronic devices and how it relates to the human experience.
It examines the relationship between meditation and evolving technology in our quest for inner peace. The presentation, titled ‘Mediation’ features a series of tondo format art pieces, including ‘Mediation (Breathe)‘ – an animated sculpture that mimics breathing. The intention of Osadebe’s work is to help us regain awareness of our inner instruments and not rely solely on the tools we are provided by our built environment.

Meanwhile, ‘Factory Reset Continued’ the group exhibition curated by Osadebe, features other talented artists including Jeppe Hein, Alice Anderson, Deborah Begun, Joseph Fidelis, Micheal Igwe, and Ego Ahiakwo. Together, their works reintroduce viewers to modes of quiet and contemplative reflection, with an eye towards the impact of technology on our spiritual awareness and connection to the world. A wide range of artworks created in the past year are on display, showcasing diverse styles and techniques.
These pieces invite viewers to engage in quiet contemplation, encouraging a deeper connection to spirituality and the world around us, while also exploring the impact of technology on these experiences.

The exhibition runs until May 26th at SCHLACHTER 151, Wilmersdorferstraße 151, 10585 Berlin Charlottenburg
