ASICS SportStyle reveals its newest NEOCURVE™ sneaker on October 31, crafted from its own unused materials. Alongside unused resources and through a partnership with Fast Feed Grinded, the NEOCURVE™ is made from unwanted and newly repurposed materials, contributing to the brands commitment to circular design – an approach that’s more essential than ever for a sustainable future.
Driven by a simple yet powerful question – can something new be created from what would have otherwise been thrown away – ASICS started its collaboration with Fast Feet Grinded in 2020. Today, the NEOCURVE™ represents the brand´s highest achievement in circularity, perfectly made for customers who care about protecting the future without compromising on performance or style.
SECOND COLLABORATION BETWEEN JUNYA WATANABE MAN AND C.P. COMPANY
For Fall/Winter 2024, functional menswear brand C.P. Company joins forces with renowned Japanese designer Junya Watanabe for their second collaboration, this time reimagining the brand´s iconic fishtail parka.
Known for his skill in deconstructing classic silhouettes, Watanabe brings his signature touch to the water-repellent parka, introducing innovative materials and avant-garde details. The piece, crafted in Japan, stays true to C.P. Company’s commitment to functionality, featuring essential elements like a full zip, concealed flap fastening, and adjustable cuffs.
This collaboration seamlessly blends C.P. Company´s emphasis on function with Watanabe´s unique design aesthetic, resulting in a piece that embodies both brands´core values of style and practicality.
DAVID KOMA X YOANN BOURGEOIS ART COMPANY
David Koma unveils a captivating digital campaign featuring a series of video performances inspired by the works of Yoann and Marie Bourgeois, particularly their piece Ophelia. Drawing on the character Ophelia from William Shakespeare´s Hamlet, the campaign showcases performances by Marie Bourgeois that explore a poetic transition from the physical world into a watery sphere. These performances spotlight key items from the brand, such as The DK City and The Apex handbags, alongside a curated selection of footwear.
Seit in a “dream machine” installation – including a bed, an aquarium, and a crane – the performances were filmed in the historic gardens of Château du Clos Lucé in the Loire Valley. Artist Yoann Bourgeois brought his creative vision to life, blending elements of dance, theatre, and circus arts to craft this unique visual experience.
