CECILIE BAHNSEN X ASICS GEL-TERRAIN™ MT

Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS Sportstyle continue their creative partnership with the debut of the GEL-TERRAIN™ MT, first seen on the Spring/Summer 2025 runway in Paris. The collaboration rethinks the GEL-TERRAIN silhouette in two variations that merge functionality with Bahnsen’s signature femininity. One design features a quilted upper with floral embroidery beneath a translucent overlay, paired with a neoprene sock for supreme comfort. The second version incorporates a TPU rain cover with floral accents, allowing ASICS’ silver Stripes to subtly shine through. Both styles are a study in contrast technical, delicate, structured yet soft, highlighting the seamless fusion of Bahnsen’s couture sensibility with ASICS’ performance expertise.

To celebrate the launch, Bahnsen enlists renowned Japanese photographer Takashi Homma, whose serene blue-hued visuals reflect ASICS’ philosophy of “Sound Mind, Sound Body.” The collaboration will be unveiled at LN-CC during London Fashion Week, offering an immersive experience where craftsmanship meets contemporary movement.

AUTOBIAGRAFIA DI UNA BORSETTA

Joanna Hogg’s latest cinematic venture, Autobiografia di una Borsetta, redefines storytelling through an unexpected protagonist: a Miu Miu Wander bag. Set against the breathtaking Tuscan landscape, the film follows the handbag’s life journey, navigating different social spaces and owners, from privileged elites to the working-class underworld. This unconventional narrative unfolds in Hogg’s signature blend of realism and surrealism, offering a poignant meditation on identity, transformation, and material memory. Shot using four iPhones 16 for a uniquely intimate perspective, the film questions how objects bear witness to human experiences, granting the handbag its own silent yet expressive voice.

Commissioned as the 29th installment of Miu Miu Women’s Tales, Autobiografia di una Borsetta debuted at Curzon Mayfair Cinema in London on February 13, 2025. Hogg’s collaboration with Japanese photographer Takashi Homma adds a visual depth, emphasizing a blend of movement and stillness. The film will be available for global streaming on MUBI starting February 23, 2025. Through this evocative tale, Miu Miu once again pushes the boundaries of fashion and film, celebrating femininity with both critique and reverence, while challenging the narratives objects can tell.

Viviane Sassen: The Body As Sculpture at Fotografiska

Have you ever looked at your body and imagined it as something beyond flesh—a shape, a form, a sculpture? Renowned Dutch artist Viviane Sassen has long explored this notion, bending and reshaping the human body into abstract, surreal forms. Sassen’s fascination with the fluidity of the body began in childhood, when she twisted her frame into unfamiliar postures, rejecting rigid Western beauty ideals. This exploration continued in her early years as a model, where she became acutely aware of the male gaze shaping her image. She reclaimed agency through self-portraiture, creating a vision of the body that defies expectation: fractured, discontinuous, yet deeply expressive.

In series like Cadavre Exquis and Modern Alchemy, Sassen dissolves the boundaries between photography and sculpture. Here, bodies cease to be passive subjects and instead transform into dynamic, sculptural compositions. Her work invites us to break free from convention and see the human form anew—not as an object of consumption, but as a canvas of endless possibility. Her latest exhibition The Body As Sculpture on view at Fotografiska Berlin from 7 March to 8 June 2025.

Les Deux x Yale – A Preppy Streetwear Fusion

Zalando and Copenhagen-based brand Les Deux present “Les Deux With Yale,” a limited unisex capsule launching February 21, 2025. The collection merges Yale’s classic preppy style with ’90s-inspired streetwear, featuring a varsity jacket, knit vest, and denim cord, also in kids’ sizes.

With vintage lettering and Handsome Dan, Yale’s iconic bulldog mascot, the designs balance tradition and modernity. Pinstripes, oversized silhouettes, and mesh tank tops evoke nostalgia, complemented by Ivy League green and gold accents. “Preppy and streetwear define our brand, and this collection blends both,” says Mathias H. Jensen, Creative Director at Les Deux. Shot in a ’90s-inspired studio setting, the campaign reimagines collegiate fashion for today. Available exclusively on Zalando and Les Deux from February 21st.

ASICS SportStyle Honors Japanese Heritage

ASICS SportStyle unveils its Spring Summer 2025 campaign, inspired by the Japanese tradition of Rajio Taiso: a morning exercise routine that has energized generations. Launching globally on February 17, 2025, the campaign embodies ASICS’ philosophy: “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body.” Set against Japan’s serene morning landscapes, the campaign follows three individuals integrating Rajio Taiso into their daily rituals, highlighting movement as a source of vitality. Beyoncé & Levi’s Reimagine Denim with “Pool Hall”

Beyoncé and Levi’s are back with REIIMAGINE: Pool Hall, the second chapter in their bold campaign celebrating denim’s enduring legacy.
